Grilled Rib Eye Steak

So I saw this episode as I was on the treadmill, yes....on the treadmill. And I was so excited about trying this out...I have changed it up a bit to work in the kitchen and not on the grill...so I hope it works. Here's what I came up with....

Start with some good blue cheese and a nice Rib-Eye Steak:

Grill the juicy looking steak on stove top broiler pan at high heat for 3 minutes on each side after letting steak sit for 30 minutes and seasoning it with olive oil, salt and pepper. While this is grilling, preheat oven and pan to 475 degrees. Once steak is seared nicely on each side, move to cutting board and cut into thick strips. Move to heated pan and top with chunks of butter.

Place butter topped steak into oven for 6 minutes! Be VERY CAREFUL not to burn yourself.

After the 6 minutes of cooking, take pan out of oven and place generous chunks of your favorite blue cheese on top of each piece of meat. Then drizzle the butter-steak sauce over each piece, melting the cheese into the steaks. Serve immediately!! So GOOD!!!
