New Years Day: Sunday Brunch


Making Lemon Bars as one of our desserts for the New Year...why Lemon Bars, you might ask??? Well, the lemon has long been a symbol of longevity, purification, love, and friendship. All of which we hope for in 2012.

This is the recipe that my mother has made all of my life, so I won't be sharing those details but they are pretty easy to make and it's fairly easy to find a recipe out there.

Boy, I wish I had some of my fresh lemons from our trees when we lived in Pasadena, CA.....
